Der Graf, meaning “The Count,” is a Riesling from Piesporter Grafenberg and Falkenberg. We harvest this fruit farmed by the only grower we purchase fruit from, Michael. The vineyard sites are both East and South facing, the vines, for us, are a bit younger at roughly 40 years old.

The name der Graf comes directly from the official name of one of the vineyard sites.

90% crushed and macerated overnight, 10% carbonic for roughly two weeks. Fermentation in barrel on full lees, 12 months ageing in tonneau, 6 months ageing in stainless steel tank, bottled after 18 months.

Landwein der Mosel Unfiltered 11,5% Alk./Vol. contains sulfites €26,67/l
